Adam Yarger, in concert

Saturday, July 28 at 7 pm, Main Arena

Born in Centre Hall PA, Adam Yarger's love for music evolved at an early age. Becoming very attracted to the music his father was listening to which was classic rock, Adam began realizing he liked music more than just listening to it. He packed his bags and moved to Nashville when he was 19 and began pursuing his music career. He has been there the last 4 years and has been quite busy.

He recently finished recording his second EP with Producer Kent Wells (Dolly Parton's producer/band leader/guitarist). Adam has teamed up with several songwriters in Nashville and has also written a vast catalog of originals himself. He's been on the road performing his songs for audiences in many venues regionally and nationally. His most current single reached #23 on 'The Iceman's Top 40 New Country Artist Chart' back in September of 2017.

His sound is "that familiar sound you've never heard before". Take some classic rock and mix it with a heavy helping of country blended with a smooth sometimes raspy but soulful voice. Add in his unique song writing capabilities along with his personality and you have a recipe for 'captivating an audience'. He will keep you singing and moving to some of your favorite cover songs spanning four decades from multiple genres mixed with his large catalog of original songs like "Find Me Fishing", "Burn", and "Eighteen" along with songs from the new EP like "Between This Beer and Me", "Houston" and "What A Way To Go".

He will be performing The National Anthem on May 4 at Dover International Speedway in Dover DE for the "JEGS 200" NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race along with a private VIP concert after the race.

"Adam sounds like a real country artist" (Duane Allen--Lead Singer--Oak Ridge Boys)
